Your new role
You will be welcomed into our engineering department, which is divided into cross-functional, verticalized development teams, who are focused on delivering continuous improvements, features and developing new products. To support the delivery process and stability of our products, we can also count on our Product Support team, QA team, and SRE team who, alongside our Product and People team, Director/Architect and VP Engineering, are constantly looking to overcome new challenges, to innovate, and to ensure the success of our products and satisfaction of our customers.
Your challenge{{{{:
- Develop and deliver software solutions that meet customer needs quickly and efficiently - you know how to apply the 80/20 rule
- Work on enhancing our products to deliver outstanding performance and value to our customers
- Create high-quality code with a well-structured and maintainable design
- Keep our codebase tested and secure
- Profiling and benchmarking our codebase to identify bottlenecks - you are interested in running regular benchmarks
- Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, logging, and e2e testing - you have a you-build-it-you-run-it mentality
- Providing guidance to other developers and act as a mentor for juniors
Requirements
About you
- At least 5 years of experience in backend software development
- Experienced with containers and debugging containerized micro services
- Experienced in using and working in a Linux-based environment - you like the terminal
- Experience with Node.JS/Typescript - additional experience with Python and Golang is a plus
- Familiar with a database such as MongoDB, Postgres & Redis
- Familiar with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, NATS or others
- Writing well-tested and high-quality code is second nature to you
- Open to various programming languages and willing to learn continuously
- You proactively identify and implement improvements in our software
- You are capable of navigating ambiguity and remain resilient through ups and downs
