Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript) - Web Console Development

At Inmanta, we create innovative automation solutions and tools for telecom operators and service providers, enabling them to automatically deploy and manage mission-critical network and cloud systems, for example Fiber-to-the-Home, private 5G and sovereign datacenters. Our customers define their intended infrastructure state and behavior, while our orchestration agent handles the thousands of moving parts required to achieve it. 

Your challenge is key to this mission: to craft the Web Console, which serves as the graphical user interface to this automation power. You will translate the advanced capabilities of our API-first product into an intuitive, high-performance Web Console, giving engineering and operations teams the power to manage and control their critical services and infrastructure, visualize dependencies and monitor execution. This is your chance to work on deep technical problems and deliver massive operational impact through clean, functional design.

The role

You will be a key contributor to our modern, reliable, and highly performant React-based web application, driving the development of the Inmanta Web Console.

• Feature ownership: Develop and maintain new, advanced features from wireframe to full launch, focusing on performance and reliability.
• UX enhancement: Implement responsive and accessible user interface, including data visualization (charts, graphs).
• Quality & testing: Champion quality by writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code as well as unit and integration tests (Jest/Vitest, Cypress).
• Technical evolution: Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and help us continuously improve our development practices.

What we value

Required technical expertise

• React (v18+) & TypeScript: Proven expertise with modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• State management: Solid understanding of state management patterns, particularly React Query (or similar data-fetching and caching libraries)
• Modern API integration: Experience consuming and integrating with APIs using REST and GraphQL, including understanding of secure authentication patterns like JWT
• Core web: Proficiency in building responsive interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar in experience

Profile

• Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development, but a junior profile who is results-driven and a fast learner will be considered as well
• Collaboration: Good communication skills, dynamic team player and a preference for working within agile methodologies.
