About the role:
Senior SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve our organic search visibility, drive traffic, and increase conversions across our digital platforms. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure our digital assets are optimized for search engines and user experience.
What will you do:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to achieve business objectives, including keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, and link-building campaigns.
Technical SEO: Conduct site audits, identify technical issues impacting search performance and collaborate with web development teams to implement solutions. Ensure website architecture, URL structures, and internal linking strategies are optimized for search engines.
Content Optimization: Provide leadership to content creators to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies and user intent. Implement on-page optimization techniques, including meta tags, headers, and keyword density.
Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth and create content that targets relevant search queries. Monitor keyword performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority and improve search rankings. Identify opportunities for partnerships, guest blogging, and outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO software. Prepare regular reports to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. Escalate issues and opportunities early.
Work with the Web, Content, and Product Marketing managers to maximize traffic and improve downloads and subscriptions.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in SEO/SEM are a plus.
Proven experience (4 years +) in a similar role with a track record of driving organic search growth and improving search rankings for high-traffic websites.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices for SEO, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link building.
Proficiency in SEO tools and software, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make strategic recommendations for optimization.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage a team effectively.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies in SEO and digital marketing.
