Position Overview

ChabezTech LLC is expanding its in-house QA Automation team and is seeking an experienced Cypress QA Automation Engineer to join on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a fully remote role supporting CST business hours.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience building and maintaining Cypress automation frameworks, works closely with engineering teams, and is passionate about improving product quality through test automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies
• Execute automated tests for web applications and APIs
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root-cause analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in QA Automation with hands-on Cypress experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs
• Solid understanding of QA best practices and testing methodologies
• 8+ years of overall QA experience preferred
