Job Title: SEO Specialist

Schedule: US Business Hours (PST)

Salary: USD 900-1500/month

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to optimize our website and content.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and update all site/page metadata
  • Identify and map keywords to guide content development strategy
  • Conduct reporting and analytics, including data analysis and creating monthly performance reports
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and promote impactful SEO content based on trends and research
  • Work with the Engineering team to fix crawl errors, core web vitals, and other technical SEO needs
  • Identify opportunities to enhance search engine visibility
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization


Requirements

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz)
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of SEO, search engine algorithms, and ranking methods
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
  • Experience with technical SEO tasks such as fixing crawl errors and optimizing core web vitals
  • Content and Keyword Optimization:
  • Ability to identify and map keywords to guide content development strategy
  • Skilled in optimizing and updating site/page metadata
  • Proficiency in performing ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Analytical and Reporting Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and analyze SEO performance
  • Experience in creating and presenting monthly performance reports
  • Ability to use data to inform and adjust SEO strategies
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Excellent collaboration skills to work with the Marketing team on developing and promoting impactful SEO content
    • Ability to work with the Engineering team to address technical SEO needs and implement recommendations
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strategic Planning:
      • Experience in identifying opportunities to enhance search engine visibility
      • Ability to recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
      • Skilled in researching and implementing search engine optimization recommendations.
