Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. We are the #1 global market leader in Wireless-WAN based enterprise connectivity solutions and are growing fast in enterprise Private 5G networks and Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) solutions.

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

The Area Director Sales, EMEA will come on board with the full support of the executive team. This is an opportunity for a sales leader who has a history of building and dominating their territory and wants to make an impact on building the next iconic network & cloud cybersecurity company. You are an expert at leading a team to map business solutions to the most complex security challenges of customers. You understand the competition and have the desire to win market share. You will be a key executive within the global leadership team and be responsible for defining and implementing the overall business strategy in-region, with the dual goals of growing top-line revenues through the generation of scalable, repeatable, structured client and partner relationships and you want to embrace the operational challenges of leading a significant operational capability.

What Will You Do?

  • Plan and execute on GTM strategy and readiness by working with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage key sales infrastructure, including implementing efficient processes, sales forecasting, and staff training to drive pipeline, increase close rate, and support revenue growth
  • Demonstrate creative leadership in the sales effort to expand the customer base & existing account expansion
  • Define and implement repeatable sales strategies, processes, and tactics that support the achievement of team and company goals
  • Work with Marketing, Customer Advocacy, and Product to maximize campaign success and content to inform the product roadmap
  • Monitor and manage team goals and performance and ensure the team understands how their work aligns and relates to broader business goals and strategies
  • Lead the strategic planning and implementation of new revenue opportunities
  • Develop relationships with industry associations/organizations
  • Manage clear OKR's and KPI's set to measure activity, wins, and revenue targets through the management of individual sales pipelines. Present sales metrics when required during board meetings, all-hands, and team meetings
  • Prospect new accounts, generate interest, qualify, develop, and close new business
  • Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the territory
  • Develop overall strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed selling effort into the territory/accounts
  • Focus on new accounts, customer satisfaction, and retention

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Technology-related bachelor's degree
  • Ten (10+) years of a successful track record leading sales teams, developing growth strategies, and implementing them accordingly, selling cybersecurity and networking technologies including SWG, CASB, ZTNA/VPN, NGFW, IAM and DLP
  • Understanding of enterprise web technologies and SaaS experience
  • Exceptional track record of success with consultative sales of complex enterprise software solutions to C-level executives
  • Experience establishing & fostering strong Channel Partner relationships & pre-existing relationships with resellers
  • Accomplish regional sales and People objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
  • Track record of successfully coaching teams on how to identify, cultivate and close six to seven figure+ transactions
  • Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan in support of territory objectives
  • Recommend product enhancements/development by identifying new product opportunities and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, tracking competitors
  • Constantly stay current with industry changes and trends and build your expertise in cybersecurity
  • Prior recent experience with Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto, Broadcom, McAfee, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco and/or similar
  • Ability to work and sell in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge/familiarity with modern prospecting and customer analytics applications
  • Travel: within region
