Our client is looking for a PR Assistant (this could suit a college leaver) to support existing client activities. You will be supporting the implementation of integrated PR and marketing campaigns. A knowledge of European B2B media landscape (whilst not necessary) would be an advantage. You must have a desire to learn, playing an active role in the business, as well as taking personal responsibility to develop ways of working that will be future-proof, scalable and efficient. Duties of the Role:
Providing administrative support
Providing support to clients’ PR & Marketing activities
Assessing/reporting on media coverage across various media outlets
Helping to manage magazine subscriptions
Scanning/sharing media clippings
Maintaining high quality writing standards at every opportunity
Maintaining good relationships with colleagues and helping improve cohesion through quality interactions Special Requirements:
Excellent written/oral English skills
Excellent copywriting skills (excellent spelling, grammar, proof-reading, as well as a creative flair for producing engaging copy)
Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate ideas to the team, organising information in a succinct and interesting way to capture their attention
Excellent telephone manner as you will need to portray confident picking up the phone and speaking to people, maintaining a positive, friendly, upbeat tone
Strong interpersonal skills (over the phone, by email or in person), ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated
Approachable, friendly and empathetic with the ability to relate to people on different levels
Practical and adaptable, with a logical approach to tasks and with common sense
Dedicated, reliable, with a positive attitude to work and flexible in approach
Ability to work quickly and efficiently (without compromising on quality) as you will often be working to tight media deadlines as well as meeting the demands and pressures of your team and clients. Benefits:
