Your mission as the Junior BI Analyst!
You will be responsible for assisting with the analysis and interpretation of data to support business decision-making. This role involves collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets, creating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
You will be working on:
- CSGORoll: the world’s #1 skin gaming site. A community social gaming platform targeted towards CS2 players, featuring unique in-house custom-built games such as Roulette, Crash, Unboxing, and PVP.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collect data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other internal systems.
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Use statistical techniques to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
- Assist in the development of predictive models and algorithms.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with other team members, including senior analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Participate in meetings and provide updates on data analysis projects.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field (internships and coursework projects considered).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
It will be a plus if you have:
- Existing portfolio of previous work
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with big data tools and technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and applications.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
