Motion Graphic Designer

Location: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working.

As a Motion Graphic Designer Your Responsibilities Will Include

Motion graphics: Create infographic videos across multi-channel creative production. Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics. All digital assets, including websites, videos, newsletters, banners, social media, and other digital media. Working to produce internal communications to support the Comms team.

Design: To create high quality design and artwork such as posters, brochures, presentations, storyboards/visuals, across a wide range of media to meet the needs of various audiences and stakeholders. Be responsible for seeing jobs through to final artwork supply. Working with the Senior designer take concepts and evolve the design to completion.

Illustration: Continue to expand the current graphics/vector Lowell branding assets. Take the lead on creating an illustration style that’s unique to Lowell which is modern and impactful. Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques.

Brand: Be the design custodian for our brand and working with the Senior Designer continue to evolve and maintain the Lowell brand guidelines. Working with the broader team help create visual stories for our brand that engage and disrupt and keep Lowell front of mind and seen as leaders in our industry.

Quality creative output: Ensuring all creative design product is executed to the highest quality and best leverages the channel it in delivered in. Ensure work engages and activates our audiences and is at the forefront of powerful design work. Ensure all design work best reflects our brand, UX and meets regulatory guidance whilst demonstrating best practice and delivering great audience experience and contributing to business targets.

What We Need From You

  • Agency or client-side creative experience.
  • Experience working with the Adobe creative suite, InDesign, Illustrator, photoshop, Figma etc.
  • Graphic design/ photography/ video and motion graphic skills.
  • Both on and offline including web page prototyping and email production.
  • Working in a fast-paced creative environment with multiple stakeholders and complex creative challenges.
  • Working on developing brands across multi-channel execution.
  • Developing brand visual expression and evolving brand guidelines.
  • Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Creative talent and a real passion for the production of high quality stand out design.
  • Working with and managing external agencies.
  • B2B, B2C and internal communications.
  • Good time-management and planning skills.
  • Able to follow style guides and have a demonstrable understanding of branding, typography and colour theory.
