Mid-Level Network Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting modern, distributed environments in a remote-first setting.

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based network environments.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across distributed systems.
• Configure and maintain network hardware, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Implement network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams on infrastructure projects.
• Maintain documentation for network architecture and procedures.
• Support incident response and continuous network improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking technologies.
• Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, and network security concepts.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or similar) are a plus.
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
