Role Description
As a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be the driving force behind the technological vision, development, and future growth of our platform. Your expertise will guide the creation and continuous improvement of our platform, currently built in FlutterFlow/Flutter (Dart) and Firebase database, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and innovative experience. Collaborating closely with the CEO and other co-founders, your role will be pivotal in transforming our vision into a scalable, secure, and user-centric platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and strategic direction of our technology platform, ensuring alignment with our business goals, including owning and managing our Development Roadmap.
- Architect, develop and optimize our platform, currently built in FlutterFlow/Flutter/Dart, with a focus on scalability, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with the CEO in strategic planning and execution to align technological development with our long-term vision.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our platform, incorporating best practices and the latest technologies.
- Oversee the selection and management of any third-party services or partnerships related to the technology stack or infrastructure.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and adaptability within the tech team we will create as we grow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CTO, Lead Developer, or similar role in a tech startup, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in Flutter and Full-Stack Development.
- Demonstrable success in building, launching, and scaling digital platforms, preferably in the publishing, e-reading, or related sectors.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a technology team towards achieving shared goals.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for reading, literature, and leveraging technology to connect communities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Eager to build something meaningful, and ready to leave main employment in the next 3-6 months.
