We’re looking for a curious and analytical Data Scientist to extract insights from complex datasets, build predictive models, and support data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone passionate about statistics, machine learning, and solving real-world problems in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns and insights.
  • Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to support business objectives.
  • Translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
  • Visualize and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and tools to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and maintain model performance and accuracy over time.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with ethical standards.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, with strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
