HR Generalist in MUMBAI METROPOLITAN REGION

Responsible for enabling the people strategy by providing HR support to People Partners and internal client groups across the region. Together with your team, you will ensure Nasdaq's people strategy and processes are implemented successfully and will assist with implementing people programs that advance the talent strategy across multiple business unit client groups.

  • Advise, guide, support managers and employees, around people programs, policies and tools
  • Lead, support and coordinate employee processes such as onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility, and partner with the Payroll team, at a local level
  • Provide support during roll out of companywide programs and initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, diversity, inclusion and belonging, internship program etc.
  • Partner with People Partners in preparing for and completing performance reviews, calibration, and compensation recommendations, in alignment with Nasdaq guidelines and policies It would be great if you have
  • Strong organization and administration skills. Comfortable working with agility and pivoting as required to balance multiple and changing priorities
  • Resilient and ‘can do’ demeanor with strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and ability to work both strategically and hands on.
  • Act as the voice of the client with the People Team internally ensuring that the position, decision and or direction taken by us remains customer centric and business focused
  • Partner with People team, managers and employee to handle and resolve workplace issues, and facilitate effective solutions for handling underperformance, workplace investigations, and other critical employee matters.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects, to drive innovation across teams
  • Work collaboratively in a distributed team, across multiple functions, locations and time zones. Working globally will involve some late night or early calls with work hours flexibility to accommodate business and personal needs.
  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience Required: 2-4 years
