IT Support Technician
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to support our location in Williston, Vermont and remote support of about 70 users throughout North America.
The job can be primarily performed from a home office, but the applicant must go into the Williston office on average 1-2 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Technical assistance to customers (internal employees) by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
- Provide support for PC Hardware and Software, Cell Phones, Printers, O365 Suite.
- Configure laptops for new hires and laptop replacements.
- Learn how to Use, Manage, and Maintain systems like Azure Active Directory, MEM, an ERP System, etc.
- Create and Maintain Technical Documentation for processes, issues, and solutions.
- Work closely with team members to resolve complex technical issues and improve internal processes.
- IT Equipment Ordering and Equipment Inventory Management.
- Perform data entry, research issues, or other tasks to support our IT Department Management Team in Germany.
- Managing and steering 3rd parties.
- Support of Microsoft 365 products.
Education/Requirements
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Looking for 5+ years of IT-related support experience, preferably in a helpdesk or customer support role.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- MS Teams phone system administration experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately document technical issues.
- Great with computers, tech-savvy with a high aptitude for learning technology.
- Understands the fundamentals of troubleshooting skills with a desire for continual learning.
- Independent working method in compliance with internal specifications.
- Occasional travel is required, 1-3 times a year, to support other Company sites in California and Florida or for training at our Headquarters in Germany.
