Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Remote Python Developer with 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, API engineering, and microservices. You will collaborate with our product and tech team to build high-performance backend modules and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python.
- Work with FastAPI / Django / Flask to deliver secure and scalable services.
- Integrate databases, third-party APIs, and internal automation workflows.
- Build background workers, schedulers, and asynchronous task runners.
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Write unit tests, maintain documentation, and follow clean coding standards.
- Communicate effectively in a remote environment and deliver tasks on schedule.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong expertise in FastAPI or Django REST Framework.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
- Good understanding of Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and API architectures.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a remote setup.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Redis, Celery, RQ, or task queues.
- Exposure to AI/ML model integrations or automation systems.
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
