Job Description:

Position Overview: Our client is looking for a SharePoint Admin to development and design a SharePoint site in Microsoft 365. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT team and key stakeholders to create a robust, user-friendly, and efficient SharePoint environment tailored to our firm's specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Development: Design, develop, and deploy a SharePoint site within Microsoft 365 to support the firm's operations and collaboration needs.
  • Customization: Customize SharePoint pages, lists, libraries, and workflows to meet the specific requirements of various departments within the firm.
  • Integration: Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications and third-party tools to enhance functionality and streamline processes.
  • User Management: Manage user permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls and security settings are in place.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, creating documentation and conducting workshops as needed to ensure effective utilization of the SharePoint site.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure the SharePoint site remains functional and up-to-date.
  • Best Practices: Implement best practices for SharePoint design and development, ensuring the site is scalable, efficient, and easy to navigate.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the project stays on track and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator, with a strong background in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SharePoint design and development, including the use of PowerShell, SharePoint Designer, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, site collections, and web parts. Experience with integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint and Microsoft 365 are a plus.

$40 to $55 an hour
