The Role
Engineer - Dynatrace Monitoring
Location:
Washington, DC – Baltimore, MD (Complete remote)
Duration : Full Time
This engineer will monitor performance and capacity of enterprise-wide systems, applications and critical business processes. Proactively look for ways to improve processes, look for inefficiencies, and document new processes as they evolve.
Need to provide coverage outside of normal shift hours as & when needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring using Dynatrace and other monitoring tools.
- 24x7 system monitoring support
- Review device logs documentation and analysis.
- Develop runbooks for repeatable processes.
- Reports, participate in incident review meetings, active incident and problem management activities
- Prepare data for status/findings presentations, prepare flowcharts and draft process documents.
- Support and facilitate between all stakeholders.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in NOC (Network Operating Center) and/or TOC (Technology operating Center)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline desired.
- Performance monitoring experience with Dynatrace and ITSM experience using ServiceNow.
- Experience building out capabilities in a TOC (Technology operating Center).
- Need to provide support after hours/off-hours as needed.
- Prior healthcare experience desired.
- ServiceNow/Dynatrace/ITIL certifications desired.
- Candidates without bachelors will be considered but should have 11 + years of experience
