Quality Assurance Engineer

Department: Engineering / Quality Assurance

Reports to: QA Lead / Engineering Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. In this role, you will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and execute test strategies that support high-quality product delivery.

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Analyze requirements and specifications to ensure test coverage
• Identify, document, and track software defects and quality issues
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve defects
• Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and quality standards
• Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and tools
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail)
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Automation Testing (Plus):

• Experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Programming or scripting skills (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Manual / Functional Testing:

• Strong experience in exploratory and functional testing
• Experience testing web, mobile, or enterprise applications

• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications
• Experience working in international or distributed teams
• Knowledge of performance or security testing
