Landal’s Business Product Technology Team supports the CIO in maximizing business value within the hospitality sector. We manage and optimize off-the-shelf products across HR, Finance, Operations, and Commerce, ensuring tools are fully utilized, improved, and effectively deployed for both teams and guests.

As an Interim Business Analyst, you will support the full Workday product lifecycle: from gathering requirements and defining functional designs, to testing, go-live, and ongoing operational improvements. You will ensure that business processes are effectively enabled by Workday and related systems, and that every change delivers measurable value to the organization.

What you will do

As an IT Business Analyst, you bridge the gap between business and technology, translating complex needs into clear, actionable solutions. You’ll improve processes, adapt systems, and ensure results are tested and approved before going live. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, IT Business Partners, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure off-the-shelf products deliver measurable business value.

As an IT Business Analyst, you will support the full Workday lifecycle:

• Requirements & Analysis: Analyze HR and Finance processes, translate them into Workday system requirements, and identify improvements;
• Design & Solutioning: Collaborate with the Product Owner and Workday team to define and document system solutions, workflows, and integrations;
• Delivery Support: Review and validate configurations and prototypes, resolve gaps with consultants, and support Agile sprints;
• Testing & Validation: Develop and maintain test cases, support end-user testing, validate results, and assist with data migration and UAT;
• Go-Live & Adoption: Support deployment readiness, training materials, hypercare, and ensure post-go-live processes are effective;
• Operations & Lifecycle Management: Analyze incidents and requests, document and prioritize changes, validate updates, and support process optimization.

This is you

We are looking for candidates who are available for this position by January at the latest, already based in the Netherlands, and hold a valid work permit.

• 4–6 years as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in hospitality/leisure;
• Experienced in translating business needs into IT solutions and managing stakeholders;
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, or Finance modules;
• Skilled in process mapping, Agile/Scrum delivery, and backlog management (Jira/ADO);
• Familiar with HR/Finance compliance, GDPR, audit practices, and Workday tenant management.

Our offer

• Start: as soon as possible, but latest January;
• Assignment duration: at least 3 months, 4–5 days per week;
• Location: Amsterdam;
• Hourly rate: depending on seniority.
