Job Details

Duties Encompass

• Specialized knowledge in either the retail or healthcare fields, with a proven track record in implementing large-scale customer relationship management systems, such as Salesforce.
• Comprehensive experience in designing architectures that span from customer-facing front-end applications to backend inter-system and administrative functions, ensuring seamless integration.
• Familiarity with expansive transactional platforms.
• Expertise in designing systems that are both scalable and robust, with a keen insight into security considerations for web applications.
• Demonstrated leadership and architectural acumen in developing intricate, omnichannel solutions for large enterprises, employing industry-standard practices and methodologies.
  
  

Architectural Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of current application frameworks and procedures.
• Formulate both immediate and long-term strategies to bolster sustainability and accommodate growth.
• Lead the architectural vision, accounting for various elements such as application structure, integration, infrastructure, data management, security, fiscal planning, and regulatory adherence.
• Work closely with top management to align technology investments with organizational objectives, setting performance benchmarks.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements, advising on the adoption of new solutions, processes, and structural changes to drive innovation.
• Conduct thorough analyses to identify gaps, risks, and impacts, proposing mitigation tactics.
• Spearhead the identification of components that can be repurposed.
• Oversee exploratory proof-of-concept activities.
• Define and implement architectural standards and ensure solutions adhere to these guidelines.
• Facilitate the evolution from the existing to the desired technological framework.
  
  

PMO Assistance

• Provide support in managing project portfolios, ensuring alignment with broader architectural and organizational goals.
• Contribute to the estimation and planning phases by defining technical scopes and capacity needs.
• Ensure project designs remain consistent with the overarching architectural vision.
• Offer insights on technical dependencies and scalability considerations.
• Assume a leadership position to steer solution implementation as necessary.
  
  

Operational Support

• Participate in Change Board evaluations to assess various initiatives.
• Collaborate on architectural discussions, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
• Lead in optimizing performance management and capacity planning.
• Champion the establishment of organization-wide standards.
• Assist in disaster recovery and risk mitigation planning.
• Enhance system monitoring and support the professional development of the technology team.
  
  

Qualifications And Education

• A minimum of five years of experience in omnichannel operations within the retail or healthcare sectors.
• At least seven years dedicated to enterprise architecture.
• Over five years in managing enterprise portfolios and project planning.
• A decade of IT-related experience, focusing on application management, as well as business and system analysis/design.
• Proficiency in aligning technology initiatives with business outcomes, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Exceptional negotiation, facilitation, and communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.
• Strong collaborative abilities, skilled in creating consensus among diverse groups.
• Deep understanding of various software development lifecycle methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Experienced mentor, capable of adapting to rapidly changing environments.
