Robot Gentleman, the independent games developer known for the atomic dark comedy adventures 60 Seconds! and 60 Parsecs! is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Software Engineer, with a focus on Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S/PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5/Nintendo Switch consoles, to join our studio remotely, in hybrid form, or on-site in Poznań, Poland.
You are:
• An open-minded, creative person
• A dedicated gamer who is interested in the design, technology and cultural significance of games
• A professional game developer with a passion for indie games
So far you have:
• At least 3 years of game industry experience, working on commercial projects
• Shipped at least one game
• Worked on developing console titles or porting projects to any or all of the following: Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S/PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5/Nintendo Switch
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
• A drive to learn, improve your skills and adapt to new challenges
Your skills include:
• Great skills in C#
• Practical basic experience with the Godot engine
• Developing effective, reliable and robust solutions based on design documentation, original source code and self-driven research and development
• Good understanding of the requirements and limitations of console platforms
• Good understanding of fundamental algorithms, data structures, performance and optimisation concepts
• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio
• Experience with version control and continuous integration systems
• Knowledge of the games industry, modern gaming hardware and current gaming and software development trends
• Fluent English (minimum C1) - in speech and writing
It would be an advantage if you:
• Held a similar position in the past
• Have good knowledge and experience with Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S/PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5/Nintendo Switch deployment, certification and publishing pipelines
• Have DevOps/Build Engineering experience/know how
• Skills in C++
• Have advanced experience with the Godot engine
• Have experience working with the Unity engine
• Are familiar with game design concepts
• Have a BSc/BEng (or higher) degree in Computing Science (or similar science/engineering course)

• Full-time, on-site, remote or hybrid position in an office that is a part of the game dev/creative collective Pyramida Hub in the center of Poznań
• Contract form negotiable
• Salary starting from 8-15k PLN (net) - individual salary proposals will depend on your skills and experience
