The Role
We’re seeking a Software Engineer to architect, build, and optimize full-stack applications that power our next generation of products. You’ll work at the intersection of front-end experience and back-end scalability, writing high-quality, maintainable TypeScript code while influencing key architectural decisions across the stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and integrations with PostgreSQL.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain services using AWS (S3, Bedrock, EC2, RDS) and Vercel.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver performant, reliable, and intuitive features.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and uphold engineering best practices.
- Ensure security, maintainability, and performance across front-end and back-end systems.
- Continuously improve developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Expert proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Proficiency in Node.js for API and backend service development
- Solid understanding of AWS (S3, Bedrock, EC2, RDS) and deployment workflows
- Experience working in a fully remote role, with availability during U.S. East Coast business hours
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing production apps on Vercel
- Skilled in Tailwind CSS for building responsive and maintainable UI components
- Experience building or integrating AI and agentic systems
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Background in UX/UI and usability best practices
- Experience leading code reviews and enforcing coding standards
