Data Analyst in DALLAS-FORT WORTH METROPLEX

We are looking for a data analyst to join our team and play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights using Power BI and SQL. While experience in business analysis is a plus, this role focuses more on the technical aspects of data manipulation and visualization.

Responsibilities:

• Create data visualizations using Power BI.
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures to automate data retrieval tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SQL databases.
• Leverage your expertise in Excel lookup functions for data management, analysis, and validation.
• Collaborate with the team to understand existing systems and data pipelines.
• Adapt and learn new technologies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience writing and executing SQL queries.
• Proficiency in Excel with a strong understanding of lookup functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH etc.).
• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Experience with Google Looker (a plus).
• Experience with NetSuite (a plus).

Nice to Haves:

• Understanding of Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Ability to stay up-to-date on emerging data analysis trends and technologies.
