About The Role
As a Data Analyst with focus on Commercial Performance, you will help us make data-driven decisions to improve sales and profitability through different sales channels. This responsibility covers tasks such as ensuring data quality in the data platform, improving processes for data acquisition and reporting, and helping business users to utilize data and analytics in their day-to-day work. To enjoy and succeed in the role of Data Analyst you must understand the business domain and be motivated to leverage (or learn how to leverage) our tech stack for refining data to gain insight. You will engage with a diverse group of stakeholders with different backgrounds. As such, you must demonstrate good communication skills and be able to customize your presentations and visualizations to suit your audience.
Main Areas Of Responsibility Are Work with management to assess, prioritize, develop and act on insight to solve business problems such as:- Assess performance and ROI on initiatives to improve sales
- Assess and recommend optimal pricing strategy across channels
- Analyse the performance and profitability of sales channels, countries and products
- Improve conversion rates
- Develop and design new analytics data sets (data products) for business user consumption in Looker and in Amplitude (web-analytics)
- Develop dashboards to understand sales quantity, drivers and profitability Support in designing, running and interpreting AB-test to improve conversion rates
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, including using statistical techniques to determine cause and effectAssist business users in understanding the value of data-driven decision-making and guide them in shaping the right questions to turn insights into action.
We find that you will have success in this role if you have the following experience and skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or from a similar role. Candidates with shorter, but highly relevant experience will be considered.
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field
- You are analytical and can decompose complex problems, sort out the noise and ask the right questions
- Hands on experience using Looker or similar BI tool, including modeling and visualization of data
- Extensive experience with SQL and building data models (data products) for analytical purposes. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Fundamental understanding of data wrangling, statistics and regression models
- You have a commercial mindset. Experience with analyzing profitability and drivers of sales is an advantage
- Experience with analysing web-traffic data and designing A/B test for an e-commerce business models (with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel or/and Google analytics)
- Experience helping business users become more data-driven and you enjoy supporting others through data and insight
