Role Description

I am seeking a highly organised, detail-driven Job Search Operations Assistant to support my career transition into the European job market. This role is ideal for someone with strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple job application workflows efficiently.

You will assist in identifying suitable roles, tailoring application materials, maintaining organised application records, and ensuring strong alignment between job requirements and my professional profile within the design, technology, and UX/UI space.

This is a remote, flexible part-time role with a clear structure and deliverables.

• Identify relevant job opportunities across European countries that offer work visa pathways.
• Search across trusted job boards to find roles aligned with my skills:
• UI/UX, Product Design, Graphic Design, Motion/Visual Design, Web Design, Frontend, Digital Design, Data Visualization.
• Verify eligibility requirements, location, and sponsorship conditions.

• Tailor CV and cover letters for each role based on job descriptions.
• Extract key requirements and ensure alignment with my portfolio and experience.
• Highlight the most relevant achievements, skills, and projects.
• Suggest improvements to CV, LinkedIn profile, or portfolio structure when needed (submitted separately in a Word document).

• Organise and prepare all documents required for submission.
• Record and track every application in a shared spreadsheet.
• Maintain clean logs including job links, dates, status, responses, follow-ups, and documents used.

• Provide a weekly summary of:
• Jobs applied for
• Responses received
• Next steps
• Recommended improvements
• Track progress and ensure consistency throughout the 3-month trial.

• Strong research skills and the ability to understand job requirements quickly.
• Experience with CV editing, proofreading, and tailoring for specific roles.
• Familiarity with ATS-friendly CV structure.
• Ability to extract keywords and match skills to job descriptions.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Confidentiality and professionalism.

• Experience in recruitment, HR, or application management
• Experience in UI/UX, graphic design, digital roles, or tech hiring
• Understanding of European job markets
• Ability to analyse job descriptions and generate key insights
