Senior Mobile Application Developer (Android/React Native)

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Application Developer to build and optimize a tablet-based application for our ELC (Early Learning Center) system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in either native Android development or React Native, with a particular focus on handling lower-level network operations on Android devices. Because the application may require deeper control over network behavior on the tablet, experience working with Android-specific APIs or React Native native modules is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities 

• Develop, test, and maintain the ELC tablet application using Android (Kotlin/Java) or React Native
• Implement and optimize lower-level network operations, including secure data transmission to backend services
• Integrate the mobile application with C# .NET backend APIs and data feeds
• Collaborate with backend developers and product teams to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
• Debug, resolve issues, and optimize app performance on Android tablets
• Work with device-level configurations, permissions, and network settings as needed

Technical expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in Android native development (Kotlin/Java) or React Native
• Demonstrated ability to work with network APIs, sockets, or low-level device networking
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling secure communication
• Familiarity with Android tablet UI/UX best practices
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing or integrating native modules for React Native
• Prior work with device management or enterprise Android deployments
• Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization for tablet devices
• Previous experience working with C# .NET backends
