Within the Airline Offer business domain, the Dynamic Pricing application allows airlines to optimize their price initially set and filed by reassessing it automatically when the customer is doing a flight search and pricing. This application is using AI model and rules to do so. A lot of configuration is involved to tailor the rules for each airline. We have a web UI in Angular to let each airline manipulate once all is correctly configured.

For Dynamic Pricing product we use 2 types of EZT configuration tables (Amadeus internal product) but there is not really a standardized way of using EZT tables inside Amadeus that is why we need a specific tool to generate cryptics (A cryptic is a definition of the change in the table).

We already have an old tool written inside Excel but there is no version control, it is badly scalable and hardly maintainable.

You, as a software development apprentice, will have for goal to create a new internal web application written in angular and python/java or other technology, deploy it on a server and activate it for production usage . Application should have a login screen as data should be accessed only by authorized users, a correct UX experience and should satisfy the every-day needs of the users in test and prod environments. The users of this tool will be Amadeus developers, business analysts and project/implementation managers.

This apprenticeship will be the opportunity for you to show how good you are in covering any aspects of a given problem, in expressing your own ideas, in benchmarking several technical solutions to fulfill your customers' needs and reaching conclusions with a high level of trust and proofs of discipline. At the end you will be a full stack developer people can trust and with a high level of expertise in Angular and used to Agile way of working as you will be fully integrated to a scrum team.

The ideal candidate

Is pursuing Bachelor/Master’s degree studies in Computer Science, or related technical field and has a good level of proficiency in English.

Knowledge and/or experience in front end software development, in agile methodologies environment and in one or more of the following technologies would be ideal: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Redux/Ngrx, Typescript.

User Experience Design notions is a strong plus.

Experience in backend development (C++,Java, Python) and handling APIs is a

is needed too.
