Venture Up are working with one of the fastest growing travel tech companies in the world and they are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team in Munich on a permanent basis.
Experience in the E-commerce industry is a huge plus.
You will be part of the Data Analytics team where you will focus on supporting different departments in the company to continuously improve their product and operations by building data pipelines, defining and maintaining KPIs to create visualisations and performing ad-hoc analysis that help the organisation make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities will include:
- The data analytics team is a part of the Business Intelligence department and is responsible for providing the entire company with accurate and timely data, conduct data driven analysis and deliver and deploy predictive models.
- As a member of the team you will help with these and work directly with stakeholders to help with problem–solving, prioritisation and insights generation, including KPI definition and ad-hoc data analysis.
- You own the end-to-end data flow for providing your stakeholders with useful insights: data collection, extraction, cleaning, and aggregation.
- You build and maintain systematic reporting and dashboards in Looker to foster self-service data culture.
- You perform complex ad-hoc analyses and predictive analytics projects on large volumes of data using SQL and Python.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- 4+ years work experience in analytics with proven business impact.
- Experience in analytics with a focus on e-commerce is a plus.
- Advanced SQL background, including ETL pipelines and data modelling, to build systems to support data analytics.
- Proficiency in a structured programming language (e.g. Python or R).
- The ability to generate insights and tell a story from large data sets, using data visualisation tools (Looker is a plus).
