About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer I with experience in manual application testing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with the QA team to plan, develop, and execute test cases within a fast-paced, agile environment. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of our platform, which supports diverse features such as payment gateways, live chat functionalities, and video streaming technology compatible across web browsers, mobile devices, smart TVs, and gaming consoles. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of identifying opportunities for process improvements. Familiarity with Python is a plus, but a strong desire to learn and adapt is essential. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a platform with over 600 million monthly visitors, ensuring a high-quality experience for millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience with white box testing methodologies
• Proven ability to independently write and execute test cases
• Strong understanding of scope and functionality testing across various projects
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies
• Experience troubleshooting user issues and providing effective solutions
• Familiarity with testing tools and the ability to identify opportunities for automation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for manual testing of platform features
• Review code changes to understand testing requirements and scope
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Participate in planning sessions to strategize testing approaches and improve processes
• Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant tools and techniques into testing practices
• Assist in the development of testing strategies for new features and updates
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality assurance processes
