Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

A global leader in eBusiness solutions is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help them along their migration to Azure while having their eyes on going full-throttle on Infrastructure as Code in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining a modern and scalable IT platform that ensures security, efficiency and optimal tools for development and operations.
• Play a key role in the team for all topics relating to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructures and solutions.
• Help design cloud security solutions such as network, firewalls, VPN and web gateways.
• Automate, optimise and innovate existing and new infrastructures in the cloud with IaC.
• Create disaster recovery scenarios and put them through their paces.

Requirements:

• You have experience with at least 2 of the following areas:

> Azure Architecture such as Landing Zones, Management Groups and Azure Policies in the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

> Azure Network Topology and Connectivity incl. segmentation, firewalls, web gateways, VPN and IP addressing.

> Azure Security such as identity management, encryption, key vault management, defender for cloud, RBAC and zero trust practices.

> Infrastructure as code with Terraform, ArgoCD and Kubernetes.

• You take a structured and meticulous approach to your work and are able to work independently and apply analytical and conceptual skills.
• You are a true team player, tackle challenges proactively and value mutual feedback.
• Well-spoken English.
• Knowledge of German is a plus.
