Project Description:
We're seeking a strong and creative Software Engineer eager to solve challenging problems of scale and work on cutting edge technologies. In this new adventure, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a world-class team in the field of Insurance by building a holistic solution, interacting with multidisciplinary teams.
This project is to upgrade and modernise a Visual Basic/SQL DB application and 2 Lotus Notes applications (all are 25 year old applications and involves migration of 50+ million records of data with zero data loss out of LN) into modern digital cloud and hybrid microservices based applications running on native Kubernetes container platform.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Application Security Logging in the Zurich Group Germany.
- Integration of the application security logs into the global SIEM solution
- Development of requirements along European & German regulatory requirements (VAIT, DORA).
- Written development of specifications for application security logging.
- Documentation of the technical integration.
- Implementation of filter rules, normalization rules and evaluation rules in the SIEM and the logging engine.
- Stakeholder management in IT (coordination of application onboarding, technical support).
- Handover of completed integrations to the global Security Operations Center for 24/7 monitoring.
- Candidate must be ready to work on timing shifts.
- Candidate might have overtimes or on-call shifts pattern.
