Junior Software Developer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Remote Junior Developer to join our fully distributed engineering team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow their technical skills, and contribute to real production projects in a supportive remote environment.

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications
• Write clean, simple, and well-documented code under guidance
• Fix bugs and support troubleshooting tasks
• Collaborate with senior engineers on feature development
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Learn new languages, frameworks, and tools as needed
• Follow best practices related to version control, testing, and documentation

• 0–2 years of experience in software development
• Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.)
• Familiarity with front-end or back-end frameworks (React, Node.js, Django, etc.)
• Understanding of Git and basic software development workflows
• Strong willingness to learn and improve
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Basic understanding of APIs and RESTful services
• Personal coding projects, GitHub repos, bootcamp experience
