As the Senior Product Manager you will work closely with our OEM partners and our end customers within government and military agencies to develop and execute on a comprehensive tactical marine application roadmap. You will focus on bringing autonomous capabilities to the high-performance littoral security boat sector. Working with a cross functional team of UI, Controls, Embedded and Test engineers you will develop and bring to market modular, low-cost autonomous software and USV systems for the maritime domain. Responsibilities and Duties:
Create and maintain product roadmaps that prioritize features, enhancements, and improvements based on market trends, customer needs, and business objectives
Work intensely with OEM partners and government, military and tactical customers including frequent travel, sometimes to elevated risk areas, to see first hand how our solutions perform in the field
Clearly articulate product specifications and user experience to guide development teams
Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer support, and other teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the product development lifecycle
Oversee the end-to-end product development process to ensure that products are delivered on schedule and within budget, meeting quality standards
Champion the user experience and usability of products, making data-driven decisions and incorporating user feedback to enhance product offerings continually
Develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging to drive product adoption and revenue growth
Monitor product performance, track key metrics, and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement
Communicate product updates, progress, and results to internal stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications and Skills:
7+ years experience in product management with a history of successfully launching and growing platform oriented businesses
In depth understanding of autonomous robotics and the maritime market space
Proven track record of navigating strategic partnerships with vendors and OEMs
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into innovative product solutions
Proficiency in data analysis and market research to make data-driven product decisions
Understanding of business principles, revenue models, and financial metrics to make informed business decisions and prioritize initiatives that drive growth and profitability
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey product plans, progress, and results to various stakeholders
Eagerness to travel and meet with end customers including into elevated risk areas
