Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer with significant experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of outsourced projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails and AWS technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Implement AWS services and solutions to optimize application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Ruby on Rails and AWS best practices and technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.
• Work on outsourced projects for our clients, adhering to project timelines and specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other frontend technologies.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $90,000 USD per annum (commensurate with experience)
