Location: 100% Remote – Costa Rica

Type: 12 months contract

Description:

We have a Backend Developer opportunity for a Bay Area start-up specializing in disruptive edge-computing systems capable of autonomous learning, prediction, and adaptation using vast real-time datasets. This company is at the forefront of inventing and expanding high-performance computing solutions for self-driving cars, camera networks, robotics, drones, conversational agents, and real-time monitoring and diagnostics. Clients are currently looking to fill this Backend / Golang Developer position whose job will involve primarily working with their technical team to provide rapid customer solutions for various business needs. You will be responsible for analysis of the business teams requirements and responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the backend Services and its integrations.

Skills / Attributes Required:

• Knowledge of back-end languages Golang.
• Proven experience as a Middleware / Backend Developer or similar role.
• Microservices architecture experience.
• Familiarity with application stacks such as Spring Framework, Django and other middleware technologies.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache).
• Familiarity with Observability Tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK stack).
