Location: Can live anywhere in the U.S. – must be willing to travel up to 90% candidate will pay expenseses and be reimbursed
Contract Length: 1+ year

Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Network Security Engineers to join a specialized OT Security team. The team will support cybersecurity enhancement activities across multiple Operational Technology (OT) sites nationwide, implementing security controls aligned with IEC 62443 and NIST standards for cyber-physical systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Travel to OT sites across the U.S. to perform hands-on security implementations
• Implement and configure Cisco Firepower appliances (transparent and routed modes) to achieve OT network segmentation
• Replace unmanaged OT switches during site walk-throughs with Meraki switches and configure logical VLAN segmentation
• Configure and troubleshoot OT traffic flows across segmented networks
• Assist with rack-and-stack activities and support field personnel during hardware deployment
• Assist with Access Point (AP) replacements during site upgrades when required
• Collaborate with site teams and internal engineering groups to ensure smooth deployment with minimal disruption
• Document configurations, findings, and implementation notes in technical reports
• Validate failover using SD-WAN and Cisco Firepower
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with:
– Cisco Firepower appliances (transparent/routed modes)
– Meraki switches for VLAN segmentation
– VeloCloud SD-WAN
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 and NIST frameworks for OT environments
• Experience in OT environments (manufacturing, utilities, critical infrastructure, etc.)
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 90% nationwide
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, Cisco Security, or ISA/IEC 62443
• Experience with wireless/AP deployments
• Familiarity with physical security controls in industrial environments
