Hiring: Experienced Freelance Concept Artist | Remote Opportunity

Zoe Studios is seeking an experienced Freelance Concept Artist to join our team for an exciting new project: a brand-new chess-based mobile game. This is a fully remote position.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can maintain a professional demeanor and contribute to our game's unique artistic vision.

What You Will Be Doing (Responsibilities)

• Create high-quality concept art for UI elements, environments, props, visual themes, and characters.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance ideation, generate variations, and accelerate creative workflows.
• Maintain consistency with the project’s artistic vision and overall brand aesthetics.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• 5+ years of experience as a Concept Artist or Illustrator in the gaming or entertainment industries.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite or equivalent digital painting tools.
• Deep understanding of composition, color, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Proven ability to create concepts that effectively communicate gameplay, atmosphere, and mood.

Advantages:

• 3D capability is a strong advantage.
• Experience with AI-based creative tools is a strong advantage.
