Marketing Coordinator (ESA/ESTEC) in NETHERLANDS

Octagon Professionals is looking for candidates to provide support to the Space Market Office at the Directorate of Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness at ESA. The Space Market Office aims to support the commercialization of the European Space Industry, by identifying, fostering and promoting opportunities for European businesses to work with ESA.

The service comprises of a number of activities based in ESTEC (Netherlands, Nordwijk), ESA HQ (France, Paris) and ECSAT (Harwell, UK).

One of the key areas of support is the Coordination of the marketing activities of the Space Market office which main objectives will be to coordinate, control, complete and close out the marketing campaigns under the responsibilities of the Directorate of Commercialization, Industry and Competitiveness at ESA. The post holder will be based in ESA HQ (Paris).

The role of Marketing Coordinator entails the following:

Responsibilities:

• To set objectives and goals and carry out marketing campaigns.
• To conduct market research and identify target audiences.
• To coordinate marketing services (WEB mastering, digital media, edition, graphic support).
• To Manage the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns.
• To Develop strategies and monitor campaign performance.
• To Coordinate content publication with editors/designers/social media teams.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Marketing and/or Business Administration.
• Project management certification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a marketing coordinator.
• High mobility and ability to perform monthly missions to ESA centers.
• Excellent English (C1 level).
• Strong communication, writing, and synthesis skills.
• Knowledge of ESA and its programs is an asset.
