🌐 We’re Hiring: Network Engineer

📍 Location: Remote (Australia)

🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, maintain, and optimise our organisation’s network infrastructure. This fully remote role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance network operations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and related systems
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, or security issues
  • Manage firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching configurations
  • Implement and maintain network security measures and best practices
  • Support cloud networking components across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
  • Perform regular network assessments, capacity planning, and performance tuning
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and engineering teams to support infrastructure needs
  • Document network designs, changes, and procedures
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs)
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues independently
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Must be based in Australia with full working rights

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+
  • Experience with SD-WAN, load balancers, or Zero Trust frameworks
  • Cloud networking knowledge (AWS VPCs, security groups, routing tables)
  • Background in cybersecurity or infrastructure engineering
