We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. In this fully remote role, you’ll work alongside experienced data engineers and analysts to help build reliable data systems that enable accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

🎯 Key Responsibilities- Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Support the development of scalable data models and datasets for analytics
- Help integrate data from various internal and external sources
- Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure pipeline reliability
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams on data projects
- Contribute to documentation of data workflows, schemas, and processes
- Work with cloud-based data services, databases, and automation tools
- Support ad-hoc data requests and operational data tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts
- Experience with Python, Java, or similar languages (coursework or projects accepted)
- Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data tools
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, APIs, or data pipelines is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a remote environment
- Based in Australia with the legal right to work
