Role Description
Amoeba Software is seeking an experienced Wiring Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Siemens Capital Generative Flow, Capital Logic, and Capital Integrator to support one of our customers in optimizing and maturing their electrical design process. This is a contract role with significant technical responsibility and leadership potential.
While this position is contract-based, a future direct hire opportunity with the customer may be possible at the customer’s sole discretion. No guarantee, promise, or expectation of employment is expressed or implied by Amoeba.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead improvements to the customer’s Capital Generative Flow, including process design, audits, enhancement proposals, and hands-on configuration and design work.
- Manage, refine, and stabilize the Capital Integrator plane, including data quality, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
- Improve design workflows across Capital Logic, Integrator, and Harness Designer environments.
- Develop and enhance rules, DRCs, change policies, shields/grounds design approaches, and other foundational process elements.
- Propose and design automation solutions, including potential plugin-level enhancements (e.g., automated wire sizing).
- Work closely with the customer’s engineering teams with highly responsive, proactive communication and deliverable ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Must be located in the United States and authorized to work as a contractor.
- 3+ years of direct, high-quality experience using Siemens Capital Generative Flow, including managing an Integrator plane.
- Strong hands-on experience with Capital Logic and Capital Integrator in production environments.
- Deep knowledge of electrical design processes, DRCs, rules, shielding, grounding, fuseable links, and change policy design.
- Quick learner with a willingness to adapt to evolving workflows and contribute new ideas.
- Extremely responsive, action-oriented, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.
- Proven ability to work with customers, communicate clearly, and drive engineering outcomes.
