Job Description

Our client, the worlds largest retailer, is looking to add to their UX design org and is hiring a

Principal UX Designer

for one of their Enterprise B2B teams. By joining their award-winning design team, you can make an immediate and significant impact in helping the company shape the future of retail and also to craft world-class experiences that enable merchants, suppliers, sellers and 2.1 million in-store associates to deliver great value to our customers on a daily basis.

This opportunity is in Bentonville, Arkansas where they are expanding their awesome design community in a new, state-of-the-art campus.

As a

Principal UX Designer, youll set the vision for the best customer and associate experiences and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners.You will use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage the collective creativity.Youll employ your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and product design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to cross-functional partners and the leadership team.While working with partners to determine a shared plan forward that balances business and technology considerations, youll craft experiences that are intuitive to use and accessible for all.

Designing at the highest level of craftfor a broad population of company associates.Leading a program of work and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners through delivery.Creating the experience strategy and setting the design direction for the program that delivers on the user needs and business goals.Actively soliciting feedback from peers and cross-functional stakeholders though the product design lifecycle.Engaging the design research team at the right points during the design process to ensure the right insights inform the workRapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.Multitasking across different projects and adapting to changing priorities.Creating scalable experiences in partnership with our Design System team.Working with our Design System team to expand the component library.Championing the Design Thinking philosophy throughout the business.Communicating effectively with kindness and empathy.Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners.Staying up to date with the latest trends, in and out of retail.

Preferred Qualifications

DegreeinHCI,Information Architecture,DigitalDesign,or similar and at least 5-7 years of experience in product design.Have afantastic portfolio of elegant & simplified design solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $155,000 to $170,000. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
