Cybersecurity Analyst (Incident Response / Threat Detection)

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing security team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, triaging, and responding to security events and incidents across a diverse enterprise environment. You will leverage advanced security tools, analyze suspicious activity, perform forensic investigations, and proactively hunt for threats. This is a hands-on opportunity offering long-term career growth within a mature security organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, correlate, and triage security alerts to assess scope, urgency, and potential impact.
  • Document and manage incidents from identification through resolution with detailed reporting.
  • Conduct host-based forensic analysis across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of OS internals and forensic artifacts during investigations.
  • Analyze logs, events, and telemetry from multiple enterprise data sources to identify threats.
  • Perform proactive threat hunting to uncover undetected malicious activity.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain SIEM dashboards for improved visibility and detection.
  • Tune and optimize security tools (EDR, XDR, IPS, content filtering) to reduce false positives.
  • Provide after-hours on-call support (including weekends) as part of a rotational schedule.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, intrusion detection, vulnerability management, or related fields.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk, Linux, and Windows analysis.
  • Strong experience with EDR/XDR platforms and DFIR tooling (e.g., KAPE, Plaso/Log2Timeline, Autopsy).
  • Deep understanding of Windows and Linux forensic artifacts and investigation techniques.
  • Proven ability to analyze logs, events, and telemetry across diverse enterprise systems.
  • Experience creating SIEM dashboards and tuning detection rules/policies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
