Engineering Manager / Release Lead (Blockchain Platform)

This is a fully remote role. We consider candidates from any location within European time zones.

About the Company:

We are building a high-load blockchain platform. Strong engineering team, minimal bureaucracy, real distributed systems.

Role:

We’re looking for an initiative-driven Engineering Manager / Release Lead to speed up development, manage releases, improve processes, CI/CD, observability and documentation. You can take on only part of the responsibilities — the key is to perform them with high quality. The role will be adapted to your strengths.

Responsibilities:

• Release management: release cycle coordination, risks, regressions, reducing manual chaos.

• Working with developers: short sync calls, unblocking issues, 1-on-1s, fast tech discussions.

• Technical background: software development experience, understanding of server-side architecture, ability to dig into logic and bottlenecks.

• Dev processes: implementing unit/integration/e2e tests, structuring tasks, removing routine overhead.

• CI/CD: speeding up pipelines, improving stability, automating checks.

• Observability: improving logs, metrics, alerting.

• Documentation: maintaining and organizing internal technical guides.

Requirements:

• Software development experience (backend/system).

• Experience in engineering management or release coordination.

• Understanding of server-side architecture.

• Confident with CI/CD practices.

• Fluent Russian. Working English.

Nice to have:

Experience with high-load/distributed systems, test infrastructure, CI/CD optimizations, observability tooling.
