Job Title: Cloud Broadcast Engineer

Role:
We are looking for an engineer who isn’t afraid to wear different hats. Direct experience in the broadcast/media industry is preferred, but not essential.
Your day to day responsibilities will be mainly focused on software/cloud engineering for the companies broadcast automation technologies, which will be linked to supporting a live newsroom, assisting technicians on technical issues surrounding production and studio equipment.
If the responsibilities seem a bit out of your skillset, we are hiring for two more junior engineers in which training will be provided!
Job Responsibilities
Leading the design, development, and deployment of software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.
Help Design, implement, and build the AWS platform used to support the companies broadcast automation solutions.
Develop patterns for automated provisioning, management, scalability and security
Develop and maintain up-to-date architectural templates, build and operational documentation of the technical environment
Contribute to the implementation of a software defined datacenter for in-house cloud capabilities
T would be great if you have familiarity with these technologies (but not essential): Stay current with key cloud and broadcast technology solutions, including but not limited to: Cisco, Riedel, Viz, Flowics, Dina, Mimir, NDI, Unreal Engine, Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Adobe, etc.
