Job Description

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will drive the full embedded software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test software solutions for aerospace and defense applications. Your role will also involve optimizing software for performance, reliability, and maintainability using cutting-edge tools and methodologies. You will provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning. Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance offerings and maintain a competitive edge is also expected.

Responsibilities

• Drive the full embedded software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test software solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
• Optimize software for performance, reliability, and maintainability using cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C, C++, and other programming languages for systems programming.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with real-time Linux and RTOS.
• At least 2 years of working experience with hardware-software integration, particularly with ARM platforms.
• Ability to obtain secret clearance.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• Current active clearance is preferred.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Familiarity with Directed Energy and Space Domain Awareness technologies.
  
  

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
