Senior Software Engineer in UNITED KINGDOM

This is a permanent position with a high-frequency trading company looking for an innovative Senior C++ Software Engineer to develop Options Trading Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of designing and creating applications and components for various aspects of our trading systems.
• Develop robust and high-performance code.
• Developing Options trading systems.
• Utilize Python for scripting and integration tasks to streamline processes.
• Continuously improve our systems to adapt to the ever-evolving requirements of trading.
• Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of trading systems.
• Efficiently process market data to provide real-time insights for informed trading decisions.

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum of 7 years or more of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, specializing in low latency development in C++ 17/20
• Must have experience in Enhancement/development of Options trading systems, and applications.
• Coming from financial services, ideally from trading companies/hedge funds
• Python experience is a must
• Common understanding of Data structure and Algorithm
• Knowledge of financial instruments and derivatives, trading and risk management, market data, and market risk processes and methodologies.
