About O Nepali
We’re building a Nepali language learning app for children living overseas, helping them stay connected to their roots in a fun and playful way.
To bring this vision to life, we’re looking for an experienced Flutter App Developer to join our small, friendly, and mission-driven team spread across Asia and the U.S.
This is a full-time contract role (40 hours/week), ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, managing time effectively, and leading projects from concept to launch. You should also be comfortable communicating in English.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain the app’s front end in Flutter
- Handle App Store and Play Store submissions and updates
- Contribute ideas for new features and animations
- Collaborate with the team on intuitive and engaging UI/UX for kids and parents
- Help create an interactive space for learning Nepali
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Flutter/Dart app development
- Expertise in responsive design & cross-platform compatibility
- Experience in maintaining both iOS and Android native code
- Comfortable with CustomPainter and canvas-based UI work in Flutter
- Proactive mindset and attention to detail
Compensation & Details:
Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend); 1 month trial
- Compensation: NPR 100,000 – 150,000/month, depending on experience and performance during the trial week.
- Type: Freelance (no paid leave)
- Location: Fully remote, based in Nepal
- Work hours: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., with up to 1 hour of flexibility
- Maximum 40 hours/week; 20 days/month
- You will be using your own laptop
Plus, but not a must:
- You have a Mac
- Experience with ed-tech, games, animations, or child-friendly interfaces

Hiring process:
