Part-Time QA / Software Testing Engineer

Company Description

Our client, a fast-growing Software Development Company based in the US, is seeking a Part-Time QA / Software Testing Engineer for a short-term engagement lasting up to 3 months. You'll work closely with product, IT, and development teams to ensure software quality, deliver robust automated/manual tests, and help optimize the release cycle of high-volume retail, supply chain, and e-commerce platforms. This opportunity suits an engineer skilled in hands-on testing, documentation, test automation, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Track, report, and manage defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve bugs
• Maintain and improve test documentation and coverage standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software QA or testing roles
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
• Strong expertise in manual testing and defect reporting
• Some Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments
• Familiarity with API testing and database validation (SQL, Postman)
• Effective English communication and documentation skills.
