What you will do

As a Security Automation Engineer, you will play a vital role in automating security incident response for one of our prestigious clients in the financial sector.

Your responsibilities include identifying the most effective approach to automate containment actions during a cybersecurity crisis within their hybrid infrastructural landscape. You will conduct feasibility studies, identify prerequisites, and collaborate with key stakeholders.

Additionally, you will implement both technical and procedural solutions for automated execution, develop and document processes/procedures for automated containment action execution, and conduct simulated testing to ensure effective execution in case of a cybersecurity crisis.

What we are looking for

• Strong general knowledge of enterprise architecture across various domains (Networks, Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Virtualized and Baremetal Infrastructures, etc.) – IT Generalist.
• Practical knowledge and experience in managing and administering infrastructure components, particularly within the Azure stack (e.g., Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) and hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel.
• Proven experience in developing and documenting operational processes/procedures.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for security incident response, especially using Python.
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and critical mindset.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and input requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously without step-by-step guidance.
• Cybersecurity mindset.
• Fluent in English.

What we offer

• Salary package: €68k - €85k annually, including holiday allowance.
• Contract type: 40 hours per week, hybrid (2 days in the office).
